On the Radar Hoops Invitational
McEachern started off the season with big wins over Tift County and Harrison, the fast tempo that the Indian’s play has caused problems though out the season for many teams.
North Gwinnett has a talented team that features Georgia Tech signee Chris Bolden. Bolden is a deep threat from behind the arc that will create match-up problems for McEachern.
Buford vs. Whitfield Academy
2A runner up Buford will square off against 1A power Whitefield Academy. Buford is led by senior Georgia State signee 6’8 PF TJ Shipes. The wolves have a talented team with juniors AJ Davis, Isaiah Williams, and Brad Mapes.Whitfield Academy has always had their share of good talent; this year is no different,Georgia signee Kenny Gaines will be their go to guy, along with 2014 forward Eric Lockett.
South Gwinnett vs. Harrison
South Gwinnett is lead by their big 3: 2013 UNC Wilmington commit Logan Adams, 2012 guards Qyidar Davis, & Simeon Dennis. South Gwinnett will have their hands full with East Carolina signee Marshall Gulimette and the Harrison Hoyas.
Hillgrove vs. Langston Hughes
This is a match up between two very discipline teams, senior guard Rhodis Easton is the leader for Hillgrove. Easton has been the go to guy for Hillgrove all season. Langston Hughes features senior guard Junious Prowell who is averaging a little over 16pts per game.
Alexander vs. Parkview
Senior Deandre Harper has all the right tools to develop into a really good player, the 6’7 shooter will need to play his best game of the season, if Alexander High Schoolwants to stand a chance against a young talented Parkview squad. Parkview is lead by 2014 forward Andre Chatfield.
South Cobb vs. Marietta
South Cobb got off to a great start behind the play of senior guards Corey Ross and Evan Ratliff; Ross sports an impressive 4.0 GPA and has gained the attention of several Ivy League programs. South Cobb will open with Marietta.
